He's kind of horrible. While I'm glad she's poking a little fun at his story, it's not enough to make up for how off-putting I find him flirting with barely veiled feelings of violence against women. I'm also not fond of the wandering point of view in Laura's novel. I thought at first it was just a mistake Laura made, but now I think she may be going for a James Joyce thing :(
