The only book I've ever read in Latin was Liber Herbarum, which doesn't have much of a plot, but I have been thinking of working in some of the poultices in other fandoms, sort of as a surprise crossover character, eh?
But more importantly, you've made me want to read Due's translation of The Aeneid, if his writing is like yours :-D
