Gladrags have inserts that go inside the cover, envelope style. I haven't tried them, it didn't look very practical to me. If you say they bunch up, I'm glad I didn't invest in those!
The lunapads have the liners on top of a snap on base, which makes changing them very quick. I've never experienced bunching, but it may depend on your build, the width and material of the gusset of your underwear, and how you sit and move.
I haven't learned how to use a cup yet, but I think you are right: An all in one pad would be most practical for that.
