Hi there. I saw your post linked from toft's and I'd like to ask about it. Because I do see your point about the use of the word "sane" in the comments to my post, but not the use of the word "rational." I outlined the kinds of views I believed were irrational views - not emotional reactions, but opinions and factual conclusions. (There was another thread in my post where I talked about this again, specifically, i.e., that I should not have used words like sane, but that I stood by words like "irrational" to describe opinions like, for example, that OTW is trying to homogenize fanfic or has a secret agenda.) If you think the use of words like rational is ableist, I'd like to know why.
