laughingrat: Emma Goldman speaking to a crowd of laborers (Obstreperous Loudmouth)

Firstly, this is some very fine blaming. Seriously. A big part of responding to misogyny in popular culture is making explicit all the ugly, hateful, not-openly-stated stuff that we get bombarded with all the time. I can imagine that it took considerable time and effort to actually unpack this, then lay it all out coherently and in order. And that's just one show! Imagine if we did that with every ugly hidden message in people's speech, every advertisement, every television show! Holy shit!

Secondly: What's this show then? And what's ho-yay? :-D
