SGA drabble - Wind

The wind whipped the froth up on top of the sharp waves. Bits of foam flew at him, landing on the lenses of his binoculars, and hitting his cheek. He felt the bubbles burst one by one, leaving a patch of coolness and itchy salt.
There was a freshness in the wild air, a charge that made it not 'Rodney, alone on a balcony', but Rodney with Atlantis, Rodney in this blue world, so vast and alive.
He hoped Sam would not show himself today either, so he had an excuse to stay out here just a little bit longer.
